Was told the vehicle had a full tank of gas and it had 7/8 full. Noticed this once I drove off the lot of course. Also has an old cigarette smell inside the car that I brought to the attention of the rep...he told me it was a citrus cleaner that they used. It was far from any cleaning product
I was in desperate need of a vehicle. At the instruction of my insurance company I went to Hertz on Ashley Street in Valdosta Georgia . Justin, Joel, whatever his name was advised me there were two vehicles available. One was a Nissan Sentra that was missing a hub cap and the other was a Kia Soul. I chose the Kia because the other car was missing parts. The Kia had a sticker on the door to “certify” the vehicle was clean. It. Was. Not. Clean. The inside of the windshield was nasty. It smelled like a huge wet dog. There were scratches and dings ALL over the car. The person who handled the rental told me he had taken photos of all the damage and slid me the keys. He didn’t do a walk around with me or anything. Just handed me the keys and I was on my own. I could go on all day, but I won’t. I will NEVER rent from there again. This is the second time I have been dissatisfied with them. Complacent customer service and lax attention to detail is very disappointing.
I wish this place had a box to drop off the keys at night they already have a credit card information so everything's already paid.
Very helpful. Keep in mind they do a credit check that requires a score of 600 or more. No cash. No prepaid cards accepted. Debit or Credit only.
