Alamo Rent A Car

We booked through Costco and decided to arrive a day early which meant two reservations. We ended up arriving late in the evening and happily found them open and ready for us. The agent was able to adjust the reservations so we didn't have to come back the following day for the second reservation. Kudos for that.nnThe van was fine, clean and ready to go. Staff was pleasant and when we dropped the van off, the process was quick and efficient.

Great experience at Alamo Car Rental at KOA Airport. Rental Agency was very busy upon our arrival with multiple flights having arrived in a narrow window. Staff was friendly and accommodating to help customers as quickly as possible. Rental was clean and met expectations. Will look to rent from Alamo again in future.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! First and last time ever using Alamo. Look at the *HOUR* wait (even after paperwork) in this picture with customers all over the place waiting for cars that weren’t ready. Then they apologized for the wait and said they “upgraded” me...with the exact same car I originally ordered. Seriously?!? Absolute mess at this location. Avoid!!

Rented two vehicles from this location. The shuttle to and from the airport was quick. Had lots of options when choosing a vehicle. The return and exchange process was very quick.

My mom and I are currently in Hawaii and we splurged and decided to rent a jeep wrangler this trip. We were both super excited to see what it was like .And for reference we did rent through national but it was at Alamo and Alamo employees helped us. We then went inside and were offered a $500 dollar refund if we waited to pick it up on Monday which was not okay with us. He then continued to say they are overbooked so obviously they are very busy. We were directed to our jeep outside and we first checked the outside of the car. Everything was fine besides dirty windshield and mirrors were spotty. We then opened the doors... the floors were filthy with dirt and sand, the seats have stains on them, the front seat passenger side dashboard is covered in dirt marks and oily finger prints, the cup holders are filled with dirt and sand. I am extremely frustrated to say that this is the most un cleanliness car we have ever rented and are extremely disappointed that our first time renting a jeep from them turned out like this. What was the cherry on top was the piece of paper hanging from the mirror inside the jeep, saying everything they cleaned inside the car. I am sad to say that everything they listed on that piece of paper was not clean nor sanitized. For how much we payed to rent this jeep it is absolutely absurd to receive a rental car that hasn’t been simply vacuumed out or at least wiped down on the inside. We will be cleaning out our rental car tomorrow instead of having fun on our trip.
