What a wonderful rental car experience! The car was perfect and a lot cheaper than the offerings of the big rental car companies. The rental experience was also much more pleasant and personable than what you'd get going through a big company. I communicated directly with Rick via text before, during, and after the rental and was even able to change my pick-up and drop-off times by a few hours with no problem. And I was picked up and dropped off at the airport for no extra cost.nnAlso, it should be said that Rick is awesome! He is super friendly, kind, and helpful. He gave me great recommendations and even saved me from staying at a super sketchy Airbnb. Plus, it was just fun to chat with him about hiking and camping.nnI try support local, small businesses over big corporations. In this case, supporting a small business means you will be guaranteed to save money, save time, and have a better experience.

Best short or long term car rental solution, hands down! I won't pay airport rental rates in Hawaii again. Rick met me at the airport with the car, and dropped me off at the end of my trip. zero waiting involved. My 6 week stay was seamlessly extended twice to 3 months, no issues. Great service :-)

I flee into Hilo today for a business trip. This was a last minute reservation and the traditional rental car companies were all out if cars. I called Hilo Auto Sales at 8 pm and was able to get a car reserved quickly. Rick met me at the airport when I landed and was very friendly and helpful.

Being a travel medical professional, I've rented from Rick in the past and had absolutely no issues. This time again is no different!
