Hertz rentals was great in helping me with a rental while I was out of a car. They didn’t push any additional insurance on me and gave me an affordable car to drive. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend them!

We picked up the car (Nissan Versa) and it looked ok for $41 a day. When we opened it smelled like strong body odor and Cigarette smoke. We drove it one time and turned it back in. Found another car rental to rent from. Won't rent from a company that doesn't respect it's customers any more than that.

I was able to do my reservation and check-in online. Car pick-up was smooth and so was the drop-off. Thank you!

Horrible experience. Called two days prior to reservation date to confirm, no answer and no call back. I have never rented a car before, was not aware of the $300 deposit, until I got there to pick up the car. Nowhere in the confirmation email is there mention of this deposit, but was told it is refundable after 2-10 business day after car is returned. I asked her to write on the invoice I was asked to sign about the refund of the 300, she refused because suddenly it’s “not guaranteed”, contingent on the condition of the car when returned. I am very concerned at this point about getting this money back because it was money not budgeted for. The girl there is rude and when she brings you outside to do the inspection, she will not write down dings and scratches you point out, if she sees it not fit. Mind you I have 300 bucks on the line and I am getting extremely upset over this. She rudely says she’s been doing this for 4 years and knows what she’s doing. Also comments how this was a “great way to start her morning” I leave with the car, against my better judgement. Get home to discover a huge scratch not accounted for on inspection sheet. Take a picture, called, again no answer. Called corporate and come to find out this is a privately owned branch and basically corporate can’t do a thing to better this situation for me. Owner is Barrett Transportation, Matthew Barrett. Drive all the way back up there when I was supposed to be leaving for my trip and basically flip out at this point. Demanded she go out and mark this scratch down and all other scratches I point out. She suddenly says to me “I am not comfortable renting to you, hand over the key”. I was dumbfounded. I try reasoning with her about the ways this transaction went wrong, and how I understandably would be concerned about getting my money back. She still demands key back. She walked away to get someone to help her, comes back with no one. So keep in mind I drove the car there, by myself. I had no way got get home, she throws her hands up as if to say who cares. I demand a refund of my 600+ bucks. I was left there stranded in the parking lot with all of the luggage I had started packing up the car with, trying to find a way home. Finally had to wait for an Uber. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER ENCOUNTERED!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS JOKE OF A BUSINESS!!! Btw, I ask for the owners name to tell him of this and come to find out, there is absolutely no way of contacting him. He hides behind his employees. Never again.

Horrible service don't bother. Waited all morning dont answer phone. Don't make the mistake of thinking it might be ok!!
