Car was a 2020 Toyota Camry. It started slowly EVERY morning. Finally, about a week into the rental, the car sat outside for two days in a row and then would not start. Instead of calling AAA (I'm a member), I called your roadside assistance number. What a mistake!! Provider showed up about 3 hours after the call from your roadside assistance folks. He asked me to sign a receipt with car info, date, and the like. Car started the rest of the rental, but slowly (as if battery was quite low or post connection was loose). No one mentioned fees for service at any time. When I returned home, I received notice from Budget that my credit card was being charged $218 for the jumpstart. There were many alternatives to this service. I would have used them if someone had given me an inkling that there was going to be a charge. I assumed Budget was covering this service. How wrong I was!! For example, jumper cables are $20. I could have bought the cables and gotten a jump from a friend or relative. Had no idea it was going to roll into this situation! How about some help with this??
Everything was efficient and streamlined from beginning to end. Friendly service and easy drop-off. The Ford Flex performed well and was surprisingly economical on fuel. Great value!! Thank you Budget!! I love you guys!!! Keep up the good work!!
Everything went well until I got on the road and had to drive to Chicago in the middle of a snow storm without any washer fluid. Filled the washer fluid and found out the don't even work. Pretty dangerous trip, not very pleased.
Overall the experience was good. The car selection was nice. The only con on this rental was it was not cleaned out well. Dog hair in back seat and trash under the seats
Fastbreak is absolutely marvelous and usually I am in and out of the budget facility in 5 or 6 minutes
