National Car Rental

Highly disappointed. My dad was arriving on a Sunday night at 9:30pm. I called and spoke with someone on Friday night to make sure they would still be there for him to pick up his vehicle and the man was very polite and asked me to call back on Sunday to remind them. I called on Sunday morning waited on hold forever and finally got them. They said they would stay as long as the flight was on time. She even asked for his information. The flight was early and they had already left. He then had to wait 25 minutes for a cab to get him.

From pickup in Moline to drop off at Jacksonville Fla airport sales people were excellent and vehicle performed superb !! Highly recommend National. 1200 mile 1 way trip and no hiccups!nThank you so much!

I would love to give 5 stars but I'm not a fan of the $200 deposit. That was my main reason for using National because I didn't have to worry about that.

I used to rent from National almost weekly. I earn a lot of credits thru their rewards program.nnTheir reward program is lacking because I get the same number of credits for a 10 day rental as I do for a 1 day rental: 1 credit.nnThe reason I have rented from them exclusively until now, was because with my level in their rewards program, I had the pick of anything on their lot. I need a lot of room to carry my work equipment and I often travel to slippery parts of the world in the winter months, so I need somethingon the larger size with all wheel, or 4 wheeldrive. Until recently, I have truly had my pick of the lot. A few months ago the local National lot had massive employee turnover. Since then, I am given a selection of two or three vehicles, though their lot has many available vehicles.nnI called National a few weeks ago to voice my dissatisfaction. I was told a Regional Vice President would call me in a few days to discuss my concern.nnAl.ost two weeks passed and no call or message, so I called National. I was told their Regional Vice Presidents had a lot on their plates...due to covid. So the person I was speaking with thought it unreasonable to expect a timely response. I have still heard nothing and will be in need of a rental vehicle at the end of this week.nnI WILL be renting from a completely different company!nnSincerely,nnTim McGuire

National has always been very good to deal with over the years we have rented from them. This year was no exception! We had a rock chip on our first day of vacation. Bummers! Our car insurance would pay for Safelite to fix this at no cost to us or National. I needed to get approval from the Moline, IL office where I had rented from that it was ok for Safelite to fix this in Michigan. This ok was emailed to me within 15 minutes of our conversation. Everything was so quick and easy to get fixed on our vacation.nTHANK YOU!nThank you for being easy to deal with!
