Charged $762 for what was a $556 rental. The WORST car rental company I’ve ever dealt with. I won’t make this long because I want someone to actually read it. NO ONE is at the counter for your reservation time. They CHARGE you for things that you verbally say no to. When you ask for it to get taken off, they give a number to a call center who only handles making a reservation. You’ll ask for the right department to handle it, they’ll give you the same number you just called. Ask for a supervisor or manager, they say there isn’t one. Corporate number, can’t find it or don’t know it. They are TERRIBLE.

Rental prepaid through a third party “booking.com” when arriving at Chicago midway rental on a Sunday NO ONE WAS AT THE KIOSKS TO CHECK ME IN...it’s states there hours in their site Monday-Friday 9-5.... how ever the third party did not reveal this info and took my money anyway......really this is the only time you clientele rent cars at an 24hr airport.....I would not have rated them anything however to write this review I had too.....if your wonder I have tried to talk to Dollar rental car they will not talk to me because I went through a 3rd party rental states I need to talk the 3 rd party rental does not have a real person to talk to so.....I’m out appx $600.....DONT RENT FROM DOLLAR CAR AND ESPECIALLY FROM THIRD PARTY SITES!!!!!

If I could leave a 0 star review I would! This is by far the worst experience I’ve had! My rental car was very nasty and unsanitary. Food and grease crumbs all over the console, floor dirty, passenger seat stained and marked with ink. Upon submitting my complaint they totally ignored me then 2 weeks later charged me $482. Upon me calling for the 6th time they offered me a $50 rental voucher. I was LIVID and will NEVER rent from them again!

I prepaid 300 dollars for a Toyota RAV 4 and when we got to the car rental place they told us that we couldn’t use the car we prepaid for because my husband didn’t pass the credit check. If you need to pass a credit check why not do that online BEFORE I pay 300 bucks?? I’m still waiting for my money back. We had to take a Lyft and pay 200 bucks to go to our destination and another 200 to get back to the airport

A complete scam. Rental counter agent sold me the damage wavier I CLEARLY declined, and Dollar claims I signed the agreement. I signed the rental agreement for my prepaid rental NOT for any additional insurance but dollar refuses to do anything about it.
