Avis Car Rental

The young lady who waited on me was extremely personable and professional; she was very cognizant about the virus by using wipes, keeping her mask on, and staying behind the protective shield. A car was not available in my class, so she immediately upgraded me with no hesitation, which says that she valued my time as a customer- I really appreciate that! She had exceptional communication, and consumerism skills. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name, but I will definitely remember Avis.

I needed a 7 passenger vehicle I paid for a 7 passenger vehicle I called several times and I still haven't been able to get a supervisor. Customer Service is horrible. I would recommend using a different company. Avis / Budget is the same company.nn6 days later I was called by a supervisor. He was very professional and we came to an agreement. He obviously couldn't fix it because the vehicle was already returned but I was issued a credit and I happy with the outcome. Thanks Avis for fixing the issue

I reserved a Hyundai Santa Fe or similar, got a Mitsubishi Outlander and it was smaller than we wanted plus, the third and second row seats were extremely hard to fold down, headrests had to come off, etc. So we traded for a Toyota Highlander and it was much better, roomier and easier for luggage. There were a couple of scratches on the exterior doors but we noted them on the way out. After getting out of the somewhat dark multilevel garage at Midway airport we noticed the seats had stains on them. It wasn't that big of a deal but my wife and I thought that it would've been better cleaned. What really upset me was three days later we experienced a snow storm in Chicago and I wanted to clear off the windshield and wipers, so I went to the back to look for a snow brush, none, zip, zilch. I called the Midway Airport Avis office where we picked up the car and there was no answer numerous times so I called emergency roadside assistance. The girl said she didn't know what a snow brush was and have never heard of this problem. It's Chicago in late December, it snows! Needless to say I got through it using my bare hands but the experience was less than enjoyable. I thought Avis was the top or at least close to the top in rental car companies, I guess not. I have rented cars before with snow brushes in them. For the amount of money I paid for this car, which was very expensive I didn't think it was worth it. I will rent from another company in the future.

They charged for fuel even though I filled up completely before drop off and their customer service line was very slow. I wasn't happy with the Kia rental or servicennThey also didn't have staff for pick up and wasted time then. Overall I feel this company doesn't respect customers' time and I'll avoid them in future.

I was charged extra for gas, but i returned the car on full. When I tried to call, the call was disconnected twice from your agents, after being on hold for 30 minutes, each call. I will never return to this business and give you another dime of my hard earned money. DO NOT RENT FROM THE CHICAGO MIDWAY AIRPORT LOCATION! You're time will be wasted, I stood in line, in the cold garage for 1 hour!! They didn't even have any cars available, and gave me a huge Jeep Wrangler when I wanted a small compact car. DO NOT RENT A VEHICLE FROM THIS LOCATION
