Super 8 by Wyndham Huntington WV

Absolutely perfect. 12 noon would be better on checkout time instead of 11. Other then that loved it. We was in the Charleston/Huntington area on business. We stayed in Charleston at an inn the first night. Paid $114. No pool had to walk across the parking lot to a sister hotel to get in the pool and no smoking rooms.nThe supper 8 motel was lovely, they had smoking room accommodation, with an indoor pool, very clean, very safe only one family group allowed in the pool area at a time because of COVID. So very good with social distance. They weren’t serving breakfast at the time we stayed, They did inform me that they were starting breakfast back the fallowing Monday.nVery nice people and an absolutely perfect location on the top of an overlook hill. Very close to a convenience store/gas station, Enterprise car sales is walking distance as well as a couple of fast food joints.nThe best of all nightly rates was only $66nWith Military discounts. $77 regular price for 2 adults.nI would recommend anyone that’s in the area to stay here.nA wonderful experience.nAlso I was an hr late for checkout. No fuss. They knocked on the door and very politely asked if we planned on checking out or staying another night. I let them know that I was indeed checking out. Just running a little behind. They said that was no problem take my time. Just wonderful people. And no traffic noise we was on the side next to the mountain the window opened and we listened to the frogs and crickets all night. Just perfect. I could go on and on. But I’ll stop there. This motel made our trip feel more like a get-a-way then a business trip.

The room was clean and comfortable. There were ample towels and you have a thermostat that you can control. The shower had good water pressure, but the bathroom itself was a little tight. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Usually a great place to stay. This time the night staff said they can't change our sheets or give us an extra cover because people keep stealing them. Had to personal take my sheets to the front desk and exchange them for new ones.

Last resort hotel. All others around were booked. Bathroom had no sink top to get ready. The pillow cases were stained and my room was on the first floor directly under stairs so I heard everyone that stomped down stairs all morning. Better off sleeping in my SUV.

Love this hotel because of the jacuzzi rooms and the indoor pool and hot tub!! Not the greatest experience this time because the room above ours was pouring water into our room and had my 7 year old scared to death. They didn't offer anything to remedy the situation besides us moving rooms to a non working jacuzzi room... In the middle of the night.... With a ton of stuff to have to move. And the whole hotel was out of towels?? Besides that fiasco, we had a great stay.
