Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Enterprise always makes me jump through hoops to rent cars, depending on which day it is but I've used them the most for my travels because of their unlimited mileage and cars in being in decent conditions. Today I've had my fill. I am on the side of a highway, in a state that I do not live in, with my three kids. I called the local Enterprise road side assistance and was told that they cannot retrieve a car on the highway... that I would need to find a ride to the tire shop on my own, there are no available local cars to switch to and I'd have to discuss with my branch back home whether or not this will be covered by the company. I upgraded to this rental since I knew my kids were coming today AND I paid for the road side package. Aside from this, I have poured about almost $1000.00 into this company this week alone because of my work needs. I expected a little help but am disgusted. As I speak with a representative back home at this moment, I'm told that they actually CAN and will send a tow truck yet the kids and I still don't have a way from the side of the highway and I don't know anyone in this state. Thank you Enterprise for having my back and allowing me to rent with confidence and ease.

Friendly customer service. I love the location because I can walk here from my apartment. Don't have to deal with any of the difficulty of getting to & from the airport!

I have dealt with this site for many years. There has always been the most courteous crew on board to assist with my needs. I have seen the staff advance to higher positions within the company and they are very deserving of it due to their exceptional customer service in helping me.

Terrible. THREE locations booked me a car, assuring me that there was a car available. And I get to all three locations and they do not have any available cars. The communication between the reservation department and the branch locations is missing. Do better.

This review has nothing to do with this particular location. John at this location was great. Sadly, John works for Enterprise and they have got to be one of the worse car rental companies in the world.nPre-Covid, I rented about 3 or 4 times a month for business exclusively from Enterprise. This after I had high status at Hertz and other companies. They had a rental location near my home. Fast forward to today...I'm renting a car for my wife to use over the weekend. I called John's location and they had cars. But I needed to return to another location a mile or so away since they didn't have after hours return. So I logged in my account to book the car, using some of my points to pay for one of the days. The site wouldn't let me book. It said I could not return the car to a different location even though it was only a mile or so away. So I chose the other site to book and continued with my booking. A while later I get a call saying they had not cars. So just so we are straight...a car rental company will let you book a car they don't have. So I call the guy at that location...he's no help...no cars. I call John back at this location. John says he has cars and to call the Enterprise Plus desk to switch the rental since I used points. That was huge fiasco. I spoke to 5 different people and one supervisor...they all said they couldn't help me find a car...that I had to call the local rental site. I said that I was told to call the Enterprise Plus desk to move my rental over to the new site since I used points also. Apparently you get points at Enterprise to use for rentals but they don't actually like you to use them because they make it extremely difficult. In the end, I have no rental car from Enterprise, my points are gone, and I'm now having to call around to other rental car companies to find a car. This is the worse customer service experience...you have lost my business...not that you care.
