I'm stumped about the poor reviews. But then I see they are written by people who can't spell or use correct English grammar. They also leave reviews about Springfield on the Branson location. So, because of all that you shouldn't consider those reviews credible.nAlso, I went into the terminal at BKG, which is Branson not Springfield, had a little wait, but the young lady there on June 26th was polite and professional to me and everyone ahead of me in line. She carefully explained in easy to understand courteous language.nI think those other reviews are just written by people who brought their own problems on themselves and had to blame somebody else for their inadequacies.

I booked an emergency flight out of Kansas City Missouri to go home to Colorado for a family emergency. I was in Branson Missouri and needed a rental car just to get to the airport in Kansas City. When I arrived at the Branson Airport to get my vehicle I was about 4 or 5 minutes late. I waited for about 40 minutes and there was literally no one around! There was not a single employee in the building anywhere! No baggage claim people, TSA security, or anyone! As a result I not only missed my flight and had to book another which cost me an additional $52.00 but I had to also book another rental through another car company! All in all due to this issue Alamo cost me around $200 extra out of my pocket! This is a horrible company!! I have never been more dissatisfied with a rental car company than I am now! I will NEVER use this company again, EVER!!!!!

Do yourself a favor and use another car rental company! I reserved a luxury level vehicle for a 9 day driving vacation. Because I wanted a specific type of vehicle I made this reservation almost three months in advance. When I arrived on the pick up date the person at the counter just said “we don’t have any luxury level vehicles.” I told him that I had made this reservation three months prior for a Cadillac. He smugly said “No....you reserved a Cadillac or similar” Ok, now is not the time to correct the customers semantics! So he responds with “the best I have is a Jeep Cherokee” That Is far from a luxury vehicle! When I asked how this could happen he just shrugged and said “we have what we have” and “I have no control over it” I walked down to the Dollar counter and was treated as a valued customer and the person actually apologized for the actions of Alamo and hooked me up with a luxury vehicle in less then 10 minutes. So long story short if you are looking for a specific vehicle type and like be treated like a valued customer don’t go to Alamo at the Springfield Mo. airport!

I wish I could not even leave a star! This place was absolutely ridiculous. I had to fly into Speingfield last week because my dad suddenly passed away. Booked my flight and rental car and was told all I had to do was pick my keys up and could be on my way. We (my 10 month old) get to the airport and then I’m charged 98.00 for booking online?! Ooookay well I need the car so here’s my card..... then I ask for help because I have an oversized car seat and stroller and luggage with a 10 month old attached at my hip. Nobody ever came, I was told I was responsible to go get the car which was conveniently parked in the back of the parking lot. So the week goes by and I’m on my way back to head home and drop the car off. I get there and of course it’s pouring rain, I pull up to the side and I am told I have to park the car because they don’t have someone to do it. MIND YOU MY DAUGHTER IS WITH ME!! So I park and have to grab my daughter and shield her and run into the airport, I ask for help once more.... they call someone and say they will be there in 5 minutes. I’m an hour and 45nMinutes early so I don’t worry. Nobody shows up for the next 15 minutes. I ask again for help and the girl at the counter gives me attitude!!!!! I wait around 5 more minutes and finally bundle my daughter up and run to the car to grab the stroller and our luggage and then run back for her car seat. I am soaking wet when I get inside and am obviously struggling to carry everything to the ticket counter. I am beyond livid with this company, they have no manners!
