Poor! There are so many choices available for one who is trying to understand the Medicare system, that without help you feel lost. I read about SHIP in a local geriatric magazine. It sounded like somewhere that would give me the answers I need. I made an appointment with one of the three counselors available. Instead I was given a part-time employee with no real credentials. She was very nice but unable to discuss anything except what I could find online and inside of local brochures. I was hoping to find information that a full-time counselor would have accumulated from there many meetings with people in my situation and from professional training.
