BWI Airport Rental Car Return

My first Baltimore sweet experience, getting out of the shuttle, greeted by the attendant at Alamo, bringing us a nice full size car, as reserved. Meanwhile the manager comes over, a little talk and offered us an upgrade to a SUV, however the car reserved was new and nice! We were done 1 day earlier, no problems returning the car earlier either. Very nice experience w Alamo! Oh, when we were leaving the Alamo office, the shuttle driver comes in with my backpack that I had forgotten on the bus. Great service overall, lucky me!!

The rental facility us fine , but the location being so far from the terminal is not well planned. I wonder if it is the farthest and least convenient rental car facility of any major airport.

Shuttle takes to long. Wait can be 15min to get picked up plus drive time. Drivers are great and supervisor who returned my bag I forgot was a lifesaver. Just wish turnaround time was faster.

They are great about giving you directions to help you find your car, but the place is so big that it can still be a challenge. I wish there had been someone in the garage to point me in the right direction. And I wish the sign telling me to pick up my Dollar rental at the Hertz counter had been a little more noticeable so that I wouldn't have wasted as much time walking over that way, but for the most part, their whole system is very efficient. The check-in process is super smooth, and the signs for that are great. They could use a little better of a system for picking up the car, though. But it's not that bad. Just a few tweaks and it would be great instead of just good enough.

kind of a long shuttle ride to and from the airport, but the service is super frequent so you almost never have to wait more than a couple of minutes (and it's free) so can't really complain!
