Dollar Car Rental

I have rented through Dollar many times with amazing luck - not this time! 1st car (that I’m paying $500 for) smelled so badly of cigarette smoke I could smell it through 2 masks including a KN95 mask! 2nd vehicle smells as well. My son tried to convince me it wasn’t cigarette smoke but when I picked my daughter up today she said it smelled like cigarette smoke. I’ve spent over 2 hours on the phone & can’t get help. I’m furious!!! There is nothing in the car that says no smoking which is probably why they have such an issue. ud83eudd2cud83eudd2f

Great service at counter...BUT, the car stinks of cigarette smoke, the carpets dirty, and inside windows disgusting...I called to replace the vehicle and didn't even get an apology; just told to return it....This is the second time in a year we have rented from Dollar and cars were disgusting...

I know these places get bad reviews, but I had a great experience with drop off. Very fast and professional.

Warning stay away!!! Worst place ever I will never rent a car though this company again....nThey have the rudest most ill informed customer service representatives who will dish out nothing but false information about your reservation....MJ employee # 3244305 who actually said she was a manager who didn't know anything and could not answer anyone of my questions and just kept saying there was nothing they could do ...i can't even go in depth with the book of complaints that actually led to me ultimately try and cancel the reservation, but of course the online system doesn't work and I've now been on hold for an hour and 20 mins just to confirm my cancelation will actually go through....just don't ever use this company
