Been trying to call the local number in Marlborough Ma for days with no answer. I return a car at the night box and have been calling to check to see if everything was ok . Customer service very poor. No one answers the phone at the local numbern.
I met 2 staff members picking up and returning the car they were friendly.... Now the problem is the car I rented was dirty and seems like it was never cleaned or washed upon taking the high way to my destination I noticed the car ran rough at 60mph and above I know it needs some suspension work and it smelled burnt I think it needs oil changed.... do these cars ever get inspected before they are rented to the next customer? I have rented with enterprise before most of there cars are always clean and never a mechanical issue. I'll rent again with Avis but if I get another car with issues I'll return for exchange or refund.
Very easy to check out and drop off car at the Marlborough Avis. The agent was very friendly and helpful in making the process completed quickly.
