I had a little difficulty with doing a rental with a third party. But the representative at this location, for Thrifty car rental, was patience and kind throughout this process, with me. Finally, an hour later, when I was able to get a rental, I must say, this was a lesson learnt for me. I now understand what is needed to get a rental. Always read the documents sent to you from the rental companies. Thank you

Great service. Half way thru my trip the maintenance light went on so I had to stop at an airport and they traded cars right away with no hassle. Will rent from them again

RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK! #1 worst rental car and customer service experience I’ve EVER had. Theresa who was at the counter clearly did not want to be at work on a Saturday and tried every way possible to not help me. She would not allow me to use any of my 3 Visa credit cards. When provided with my Visa debit card she would not accept it because she said I had to provide an airline travel itinerary. Even though I’m not traveling by air and was planning to use the car locally. I’ve rented at this location before with no issue using the same cards. The “manager” was equally unprofessional and unhelpful. This is the first review I have ever written for anything, that’s how bad my experience was. I will pursue this to the fullest through corporate.

It wasn't the fees that made me mad. It was the lying, mischarging and bad customer service. A $400 rental turned into a $1,000 rental due to all their errors. They told me to be more careful about what contracts I sign. I told them to not lie to me about what's in the contract. Then they agonized over fixing it. Not to mention the car we received had a maintence light on for 2 weeks they refused to fix or take back. Will never rent from dollar again.

Terrible toll paying policy. Will rip you off from both ends. If you drive through tolls without getting their toll package, you cant pay the tolls yourself via phone or website in NY state. They will bill you in the mail because dollar will make sure you have to pay the multiple administrative fees. I received 3 separate bills thus far, and am anticipating more.nnMake the toll paying system more friendly to your customers!
