Just stunningly stupid. Money trap.

Not a bad experience other than the Covid-19 pandemic causing longer wait. But overall good.

Evelyn, Candy, and Ali make me feel absolutely treasured when I come here to pick up my rental twice a week. We always look forward to seeing each other, and because I rent so frequently, we've become great friends. Although I wish the trip from Chinatown was a little less arduous, being taken care of by such amazing people makes the journey totally worth it.

It's ok but takes to long for them to return your hold money after returning the rental. For me once I bring the car back. If using mobile app. My hold should be lifted and my money should be in my account. The phone said 7 business days. That's a lie. I rent at avis for years. I'm a preferred member and they still take deposits. I rented cars before and money went right back on my card when I return the car.I should pick my own car like it said on the app. They shouldn't pick the car I want. I'm the one that's paying. They said that's New York rules. Change that rule. This is 2021 and now they asking for a $250 deposit. It use to be a $100 for years. Corporate need to get that fixed.

Just wanted to say that customer service here is amazing. I was in and out in a heartbeat. My only problem is that the car I received had damages on it when I got it. I talked to the guy at the gate and he told me that it's okay because they already know. I wanted to change it for another one but was told that I'm going to be okay. I'm leaving a review as testament of the damage before leaving the lot. I attached a video and pictures, because last time this happened and I was told that it was okay, I was charged for the damages. I don't want that to happen again.
