Hertz

I am surprised at all the poor reviews this location has. My experience was much better. I had to wait for the car to be cleaned, but only about ten minutes. I had to put air in all four tires on the second day partially due to a 30 degree temperature change. Other than that small inconvenience it was a very positive experience. I will definitely rent from Hertz again.

On 8/14 I had a reservation for 5pm at the Vestal location. They closed at 5 (online it says 6pm) and refused to honor my reservation that was prepaid on 8/13 of $229.54. I had to go get a car from Enterprise to conduct my trip. I called Hertz customer service and they said they will refund my money but it will take 7-10 business days. Friday 8/28 made 10 business days and they have yet to refund my money. This experience has taught me to NEVER do business with this company ever again!!!!!

I made a reservation and when I went to get the car, the people in the office said that's the one someone left a message for. The woman said ee do not have any cars for you. First of all they never called me or left a message. I will never use them again

Last minute car rental called at 5pm and by 5:10 pm Sean had me in a car excellent customer service by this guy will definitely rent a car there again

I wish i could give zero stars. First we called to see if we could pick the car up early and was told it wasnt a problem. We showed up right when we said we would, but our car wasnt ready. They told us we could upgrade to a different car but only for an extra 70 dollars. We had reserved the car the night before online but wasnt able to ise the credit card given because the cardholder didnt have a license. (Even though it was reserved by someone with a license.) Probably something that should have been mentioned online but wasnt. So then we get another card only to find they didn't even accept that card. Also, that should be mentioned on line. So 4 hours wasted means a 4 hour late start. Terrible service and even worse communication.
