National Car Rental

Nice vehicle, quick and easy at pickup. When I went to return the vehicle, I was charged for 8 gallons of gas, even though the tank was full. Was able to call customer service and get the charges for fuel removed. Apparently there are now sensors within the vehicle which tells the National computers how much gas is in the tank- new program, which apparently doesn't work all that well! Check your receipts for added charges!

Walter, our driver from Enterprise to our terminal at DFW was amazing! He was a breath of fresh air. He was very professional, attentive, had a great attitude, and provided great customer service. I wish more people would take a page from his book. He was truly an exceptional worker.

The quality and maintenance of the vehicles are fantastic. The courtesy of the agents working at the parking lot has always been extraordinary. They have patiently worked with me till I find a vehicle of my choice. Also, once I had left behind my luggage and laptop in the rental vehicle. The care and concern of the agents were exemplary. They were able to get my belongings back after significant effort. The efficiency of the check in and check out process is top class. I will always rent from National.

Picked up my car in Raleigh, NC and drove it up to Chicago, IL. Larry, car attendant for National in RDU was awesome! Really great guy and helped me get the vehicle I need to drive up north with! Car drove well and made it to Chicago safely! Gentleman in Chicago who checked me in was great too! Unfortunately I was a bit in sticker stock when he gave me my bill! Normally rates that are given are fairly accurate. I was expecting bill around $108 but unfortunately got bill for $390. Turns out I had to pay for additional mileage that wasn't calculated when I registered for the car online. While I love National and have never had any issues, I'm extremely disappointed that they didn't just calculate expected costs when I booked the one way trip, instead of making it seem like it was the best deal. Turns out, it was one of the most expensive. Won't trick me again.....

using the car for a weekend get away with my wife. It was simple and easy to reserve a car. Decide which one to take and the customer service representative at the gate was friendly and very good. Returning the car was just as easy.
