Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Terrible customer service. Allowed us to book a car reservation over the phone and online then we arrive and there’s no cars available. Has happened 3 times this week with this location and others in the area. This normally doesn’t happen at other enterprise regions. This area manager must be incompetent. He has the ability to make cars unavailable for booking. Instead we spent over 100$ in Uber costs going to and from the locations because they told us our reservation was available.nnUpdate: I made a formal complaint listing all the problems I had and absolutely nothing was done about it. They said we’re sorry for the inconvenience.

I needed a last minute rental with same day return. I made a reservation through Expedia. I went to this Enterprise location in Lake Park. The car was already ready for me. Derrick met me outside as soon I got there. He was polite and friendly. Took my info right there on the spot. Did a walkthrough of vehicle. The entire process took maybe 15 min. I will use Enterprise Lake Park again if need be. *Bonus for me - I was able to use a debit card! No hassle at all.

I rented a car on Friday the 12th and was given a Nissan Rogue and was told I was good to go. After driving 20min our tire light comes on but we were on a time crunch for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding. After the dinner we called enterprise and they told us we had to wait 4-6 hours for help and then they were going to charge us 55 dollars to fix the tire. We didn’t have that time and was not going to spend that money so we had a friend put air in our tire and hope for the best. On the way to the wedding the next day we come to find out that the car did not have working head lights or brake lights so after driving an hour away for a wedding we are stranded and unable to drive back because our vehicle was unsafe for the roads at night. We called enterprise and they said there was nothing we could do until the morning, basically a “sorry but figure it out for yourself” the next morning (Sunday) we drove to an enterprise and asked them to fix the car or give us an alternative and they said they didn’t have any cars and we needed to drive an hour to the next place and just hope they had a car. The employee told us to drive an hour on the interstate with an unsafe car. We had no choice. It was an awful experience and put stress on our entire vacation. Every employee we spoke to was unfriendly and rude and all of the conversations we had on the phone with them were recorded so feel free to go back and listen to them! We were extremely disappointed with enterprise and will never be renting from them again.

Had an excellent experience at the Lake Park, Northlake Blvd. Store. They greeted me outside immediately when I arrived, (with a mask on), and had the car ready for pick up. We checked the car together, she explained the details of the contract and offered extra options, then handed me the keys. The whole process took less then 5 minutes. I'm sorry I don't remember her name but she was pleasant, polite and efficient. I don't rent vehicles often but when needed I always go to this location. My experiences there have always been good. One time they were very busy and I had to wait 2 hours to get the car. They made up for it by upgrading my reservation from an intermediate car to a luxury sports car, (Mercedes Coupe). I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't ask for anything. I would recommend this store to my family & friends.

Absolutely best location to rent a vehicle. Customer service is top notch. I will definitely be using this Enterprise location again.
