We rented a car online from Hertz.com and when arriving to the location to pick up the car we were informed they had no vehicles available. We were told by Matt they would take a car from another customer that was going to pick up later in the day for an additional $300 fee. Worst business practices I have ever experienced. Would never recommend Hertz.. go down the road to enterprise.

I had reserved a large SUV 24 hrs in advance, I called the local Hertz to follow up w/reservations and was told by a sales rep there that the vehicle was not available for tomorrow pick up. I was livid and then I called corporate and explained my situation and they had the store manager Xu call me, he was very helpful in finding a 7 passenger vehicle (no SUV) that would fit my family size . At that point I went the following day to pick up the vehicle and met Aaron, he was very patient and a pleasure to do business with.nBoth Xu and Aaron solely saved my trip and truly helped me at a point I thought was lost!nAnd because they both were so accommodating to my needs and concerns, I feel they’ve gone over and beyond there call of duty.

Reserved a car prior to travelling to the to location. 20 minutes and 25 dollar Uber later i arrive at the location. I was informed I could only use a credit card when i provided my Visa debit card. Apparently there needs to be a 24 hour notice to use a debit card at this particular location, which i wasn't informed during the reservation. Upon attempting to cancel the reservation while still in the Hertz location I was told I might be charged for the cancellation because it was after my appointment time and they would not be able to cancel the reservation from the branch. I was told to call the 1-800 number. Stranded, i was forced to pay for another uber to get back to where i was staying.
