Great service. Their fleet is usually in mint condition.

When we got there they did not have the car I reserved. They offered a upgrade to a significant larger upgrade but only had two options. We were going on an extended trip covering a lot of miles so it cost much more for gas. Thankfully we ended up loving the vehicle. On our trip we noticed a tire issue and did not want to trade vehicles. I reached someone in the S.C. area and was connected with someone from the service center. Their customer service was awesome. He made arrangements for us to go there and they changed out tire , did an oil change and sent us on our way. What was lacking at the location we picked up from was made up for the outstanding service on the road.

Strongly urge you to consider a different location. Wait times were unreasonable. Reserved a car and was only able to get an SUV. Thing was so dirty I couldn’t see out the window.

Very poor customer service! Rental guy ended up costing us $80 or more due to incorrect information given to us about how much money we would need on our debit card which ended up resulting in 4 extra Uber rides at $20 bucks a ride. It all could have been avoided if he would have told us the correct information over the phone when I called that AM before ubering to the rental office OR in person when we first arrived an hour later for our already reserved car. When we arrived that morning at the office we were told that there was not enough funds in our checking account (which we had specifically asked about) and therefore had to take an Uber back to the bank and then back to the office againn.. just to be told AGAIN that it was still incorrect EVENTHOUGH i had a confirmation number from the avis app. When we returned the third time 5 hours after the morning call and arriving at the rental office that 1st time to pick up our already reserved car there was no remorse shown or no measures taken to make it right. The guy (V. Ashminov) even came off agitated to see us again. And when we asked for any type of discount/compensation due to our troubles... ( solely caused by him )...we were quickly told that would be impossible...yet there were ads all over offering 15-30% discounts if you signed up for this or that. Being MILES away from home on such a small budget really put a damper on our trip and having to deal with this was very unnerving. Also we didn't even get the car we chose...we got a huge SUV when we wanted a compact or economy car. And the outside of the car was covered in dirt and dust . This was the Avis car rental office in Methuen Massachusetts by Days Inn hotel on 159 Pelham Street.

For the price, I would use them anyday. No excess fees etc...Windows needed washing but still the price could not be beat.
