Hertz

With Covid restrictions limiting service to one person in the office at a time I was ready to wait a bit extra to get my car but the second team member grabbed my ID & card and quickly I was put in a nice BMW. I have President's Circle status with Hertz so the upgrade was appreciated but having agents actively trying to get us on our way is an even better perk.

Overall they are ok, however we know for a fact that we lost an item in the car and no one called us back to let us know. This either means that they don’t clean cars properly, or that they have no interest in providing good customer service.

The agents here are pretty efficient it really just depends on how busy it is. I came here on a Friday evening and I had to wait 20 minutes. I also came here on a Saturday morning and I was in and out in 10 minutes.nI really like that they take COVD seriously where there is only ONE person or party in the office. I had my car rental keys and car pulled to the front within 10 minutes.

Worst experience ever! Was first given a car with a strong nauseating cigarette smell. Per Hertz policy it is not allowed to smoke in any rental car. Asked to exchange my vehicle which they did. Looking back at the receipt I realize I was charged a vehicle upgrade fee. This is totally unnaceptable. Why should I be charged a vehicle upgrade fee when my previous vehicle was not properly cleaned and smelled STRONGLY OF cigarette. After talking to customer service and explaining my situation they still would not refund me the vehicle upgrade fee.nnP.S. If it was possible to put 0 stars I would

Terrible experience returning a car yesterday. Returned my car at exactly my listed return time of 5pm. Was nonverbally waved off and ignored by the staff, followed by them telling me they are closed. They told me that the location I rented from should have told you to return by 4:45, because we close at 5 on the dot. No one said anything like that to me. Got charged a late fee plus a impound fee for the parking. Will never rent from here again. Hertz customer service on the phone was no help, as they require the location to authorize a removal of late charges. Lazy employees with terrible customer service who don’t want to do their jobs.
