Was renting through insurance company. Was told on phone ID need to pay a couple dollars a day that insurance didn't cover. Got ride there and travel 45+ min they want card on file. Dont tell me they going to try to pull money off so its declined. Then tells me 100 for deposit. Then wont take cash. Banks closed still would need to get to bank to deposit and come back. Then employee said he was the one I talked to and with attitude insisted he told me about the 2 something a day. But he never said anything about deposit and never tried to apologize for any mistake or inconvenience. I wont get a car from there!!
My 1st rental experience was wonderful & smooth... No issues & very kind helpful staff in Hornell. However on my 2nd experience but this time in Olean, was awful. After making the reservation & finding a ride to them (bc pick up service limited) they tell me they do not take prepaid cards like green dot or net 10 or chime. I extremely angered & refuse to ever use them again.
Never a problem with enterprise, just expensive drop off fee if one way, but happy w rental and vehicle
