I truly recommend this Car rental to everyone. Not only was it convenient but the customer service was phenomenal. I want to Truly thank Eva the Manager and Jackie from Avis by Newark Airport, who helped me out tremendously on this day 1/25/21.

My reservation this time was for a premium but I was given a mid-size SUV. My reservation prior to this time was for a mid-size SUV but I was given a premium. Each time I was told that the one I got is pricier than my original reservation. I called Billing, and I was told that the relative prices can change depending on the demand. That explanation makes no sense -- If the one I reserved was more in demand, then you would expect that model to be more expensive, not less. I do not find Avis to be a trustworthy business.

We ordered an SUV Explore, and were sold into a Camaro supposedly as a 'special' upgrade. My wife and I are senior citizens. We had to drive 300 miles none stop. 4 Days later we are still recuperating in bed from the sports car that we should never have complied.

One Saturday afternoon, I went to pick up the vehicle I reserved. When I got there, the woman working at the booth tells me they don't allow debit cards. Then I asked for the ATM machine, the woman said they don't take cash either. It's only credit cards they take. They waited till the moment I tried to pick up a vehicle to tell me this; something they failed to tell me when I reserved the vehicle. What kind of rent-a-car company does not take debit cards, let alone cash? And because of Avis, I had commuting problems that day to a destination far away. If I were you, I would not do business with Avis EVER, especially with their unprofessionalism.

Car was filthy and had not been cleaned inside or out - not a comfort in the world of COVID. Aside from thick layers of dust on the dashboard and console, the back seat, floor, and trunk were covered with sand. Additionally, the radio does not work.
