Dollar Car Rental

I was concerned about some of the negative reviews, but ended up having a seamless experience here. I waited only about 5 minutes. The car was just ok (could have been cleaner) but the staff were very nice and provided excellent customer service-- in particular, two gentleman named Gene (or Jean) and Kenny. Both were very kind, professional and efficient.

We had a seamless experience here. Pick up on a Friday afternoon with no issues. We waited for 10 minutes to pick up the keys. Less than 10 minutes in and out, no overpricing at all. We booked online in advance and they didn’t adjust the price at all. We didn’t buy the eztoll pass, used the insurance through our credit card instead of opting for their insurance.nnAmazing, quick, and professional service!

I would give a zero rating if possible. My husband and I needed a rental car to go on a quick weekend trip and paid extra for the toll passes....again....no pass was in the vehicle. We called to let them know the $65 charge needed to be refunded because we had to pay out of pocket for each toll and they basically told us they would not give us a refund and it was our fault. I'd also like to say the car smelled repulsive - like 10 lbs of weed were smoked in there. It was disturbing. By the time we arrived at our destination we wanted to throw up because the smell was awful. Our heads were killing from the nastiness. The car was poorly kept. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. We always rent cars and this was hands down the crappiest experience.

It was a really bad experience especially will the staff that were not generous and did not give a darn! One of the ladies charged my credit card with the car insurance but yet told me my card did not go thru. So I drove to New Mexico from NYC with a small car not equipped to travel over 2,000 miles [(Chevrolet Spark)]! Sure the car was some what economical but the car was not meant to travel such distance nor speeds. Thank god we made the trip and arrived safe but I would suggest to pay a little bit more. Even if it means to go to another companies, just for the safely of the family.. (III, VI, IX)

Giving them a star is generous. I just waited over 2 hours outside in the freezing cold for a car that I had a reservation for. The (maskless) manager and staff were incredibly rude, with the manager telling me “you can wait outside longer, I don’t really care,” and another employee telling me to “stop talking” because they didn’t like being confronted about leaving a group of about thirty people outside for over two hours. Whenever we asked for an update, we were told “another 30-45 minutes” before we’d receive cars.
