Car worked perfectly, the return drop location not being open not so much. Make sure your drop off doesn't close at 3 PM but say 10 PM.

I had a terrible experience. I walked in as a younger driver, and the location legit tried to scam me. First, they refuted that Hertz was waiving the younger driver fee this summer (they are). Next, they tried to charge me a late return fee even though I returned my car 18 hours early. Worst of all, the front desk lady convinced me (traveling alone with only a backpack) to upgrade to a SUV claiming that it would be half the price of the economy option. Instead, I was charged $30 more for that upgrade. In the end, I had to call the national phone number to dispute all three of these unfair charges. Eventually, all three of these charges were remedied, but it is frustrating that this location tried to scam one of their customers.

We called in to modify a reservation and despite this being a time with COVID-19 related disruptions, Hertz was very efficient and helpful with the reservation modification process. Special shout-out to Daniel, who was fantastic with the process!

I have rented cars at quite many Hertz stations in several countries, not always with the best of experiences I’m afraid, but this station was surprisingly good. The staff was both friendly and helpful. The service was very fast. I even felt appreciated as a customer. When I rented a car here in July 2019 it was one of my better experiences with Hertz.

One of the best experiences I've had with Hertz. Super nice staff, quick and efficient service and a a very decent car. Only thing I would say is returning the car you can get yourself into a mess because the car might not fit back in the location and the guy told me to park it on the street. I feel bad for the guy who has to reverse all these cars into a tight garage on a busy 1 way Manhattan street!
