I've never had any issues with renting from the Tewksbury location before, but this was a first. Did the rental online later in the day, about 4:30 or so. The very friendly driver picked me up & brought me to Enterprise. The person came out & said I was getting a free upgrade to an SUV since I was a repeat customer. Thought that was very nice and thanked them for that. SUV gets brought around & we did the usual walk around and checked the gas level. All good so I leave. It had the not freshly cleaned/sanitized smell like their cars usually do. Mind you it had gotten dark by the time I got home & I was exhausted. Next day I go out to the car & get in & realize it wasn't cleaned from the previous use. It smelled like I had said, and there were crumbs or something in the cup holders. Thankfully I only needed the rental for the day, otherwise I'd have gone and exchanged it for another. There was a car on the lot that I would have been fine with as a rental but they upgraded me. I will still rent from Enterprise since there have NEVER been any issues in the past, but this last one was not the best experience.

Disappointed but understandable that the location in walking distance to me has closed (only reason I took a star off). I've rented a number of cars and I've always been treated really well and received very nice and clean cars. The staff are very good at walking around the car with you and ensuring you're familiar with it before you get in - makes filling the gas tank later on a lot easier.

Warren at Woburn MA noticed I was renting from another Enterprise location and told me of their Enterprise Car Sales group and found the vehicle I was searching for, sent me the link, I was very interested. He picked it up from western part of the state so I could see and drive it the next morning. I purchased it and had it in my garage within 24 hours all registered with my transfer plates and he even returned the rental for me. Customer service at its best.
