The car was not clean and smelled of weed and smoke upon pick up. The only solution they offered was they could write on my contract slip the car smelled like smoke upon pick up and initialed it. I was driving my family around in this vehicle! Very disappointing. Embarrassing as we had comments about it too. Other than that the vehicle was nice and roomy for our needs and pick up and drop off was easy

The car was not in good condition. There was a service needed warning that was on for our entire trip. There was only enough windshield wiper fluid for two or three window cleanings. Four different times during trip the tire pressure sensor alerted us to the tires needing attention. I own this exact same car and I have none of these problems. We were on a very strict time limit to get Marines back to base before they were accounted as AWOL. The added and unnecessary stops lengthen our total trip time and needlessly stressed out our Marines. I am extremely displeased with the the lack of maintenance and stress this rental caused us.

The MyKey programmed into the car was constantly dinging whenever approaching the speed limit. The car was programmed to to go no more than 70 mph which on the Highway was dangerous. I was told I could exchange it in St.Joseph Michigan, drove out of my way to get there only to be rudely told I'd have to wait 3 -3 1/2 hours for a car to be cleaned. Ended up exchanging it in Little Rock Arkansas where they were extremely pleasant to deal with. I paid $300 in vouchers for a $235 rental (Approx). I'm still not sure if that's been refunded to my CC. I've had great experiences with Avis in the past and will give you the benefit of the doubt this one time. Appreciate the opportunity to give feedback.

Car rental was easy and the staff was friendly. However the car smelled like cigarette smoke. Big turn off when expecting a clean car.

I reserved a car for $154. I checked a couple weeks later and my reservation was now over $550. Nobody could tell me why, other then there was a glitch. They did promise to refund the difference, but that hasn’t happened yet. Al at their customer service department was rude and condescending. At the airport they added another $250 onto my card which they have never done before. Overall it was not a pleasant experience.
