Nice car, nice people. Is inconvenient that they do not have a drop box for keys so you have to return it only during store hours. Car was nice but smelled like cigarette smoke badly. Glad I checked the charges to my bank account, I was charged 3 times and totalling over $2,000! Called and talked to Ian and he explained the charges clearly and fixed it immediately. He was also very helpful and kind to the other customers having similar issues. Was impressed with how he handled the situation, very helpful. However, if I do not see changes to my bank account I will revise my review. Overall, good experience so far.

Picked up my car yesterday. Counter person was good and helpful. Needed another person it was busy. First car smelled of smoke, so they gave me another car which smelled better and looked clean. But when I got home you could tell whomever did the washing just ran a hose over the car. Bumper was filthy looking. At home when I opened the doors, the door jams looked like the car was driven in a desert as did behind the fuel door. So I cleaned all the dirty areas inside doors, and disinfected the inside, sorta like a hotel especially during covic. When my husband went out to check the cars he noticed that all the tires were missing the tire valve cap, so we bought new caps. The point is this, we are renting a product from Avis. I expect a clean car and that it smells clean and a note stating it has been disinfected. Very dissapointed at all the work I did to feel clean in this car. To the owner, please have your product looking it's best. I doubt I would rent from here again. I think it would smart to have separate rentals for non smokers as you can never get rid of this odor.

Failed to tell me it costs more to do an extension. Id rather get a different car if its gunna cost me 650 to rent the car on top of rental fees a week...now im in negative in my bank account for a month now waiting for the payment from customer service to get back on my card like they said, was told to wait a week. Then in special cases which mine apparently was for some reason, we needed to wait another two weeks for the funds to come back. A month later I called them back and said nothing is pending or anything im still in negative. And they told me a month later after acquiring penalty fees in my account, im told nothing is and can be done about it...didnt even call me to let me know, couldn't even tell me that from the get go, and now im facing a financial crisis with my kids and their grandpa who I take care of, because of this debt. I recommend not avis...do ride share, plenty of decent people rent their car out in other apps or platforms...this is crazy...nUpdate, now that im not being so patient and being more public i am getting responses. It shouldn't have to be that way...im going to call jasmine tomorrow. Re-explain everything for the 6 th time and get transfered to her boss so I can repeat it for a 7th time. If my problem is fixed, then avis u got my vote cuz u stand up for urself, I believe in ur guidelines and rules I just think the employees especially the boss needs to be trained more properly on their communication skills. Hiding that kind of money to be taken out of a account is...over a hundred? So if I didnt sign them papers that were all usually rushed thru out our own excitement or the employees excitement with being bombed with people, I could have a felony case against them. Thats how crazy this is. I sure hope tomorrow resolves the issue..thank u jasmine for reaching out, let's work together so I dont get evicted eh? Lol thank u so much

They don’t post online what cards are and aren’t accepted. I paid 308 dollars in advance just to get there and them not accept my card for the deposit but gladly took it for the payment. Guy at the counter was rude as hell, now I’m out 308 for 3-5 days. Deceptive and rude! Spend the extra money and go to Enterprise.

Got $120 rental for work that was due back at 4:45. Got stuck in traffic and ended up dropping off at 5:15 after they closed. That 30 minutes resulted in a $350 total charge for a 1 day rental. An extra day plus more than $100 in penalties. Never renting here again. The guy who worked there was rude and unhelpful when I tried to get a refund. He refused, then I called the main customer service line and at least was able to get $110 back. But beware, if you return after 5, you will pay DEARLY
