Hertz

I wouldn’t use hertz rentals if I was given one for free! I made a reservation to rent a suv from Easley SC in January for June. I received a confirmation email 2 days before for reminder of pickup with the location in Easley. Went to pick it up the day before we leave for vacation and the store was closed. I called the number and was transferred to a Greenville store. They informed me that the Easley store was closed due to the Covid 19 (that I understand) they told me I should have got a email about it. Which I didn’t. I told them and their response was well what do you want us to do about it? I asked if they couldn’t find me a car that I had reserved. And they said their store had nothing to do with the Easley store and they didn’t have anything for us to rent but would call me back at 2:00. I had to call them at 5:30 because they never called... And to try calling another store. I called customer service and they basically told me the same thing that the store was closed and there wasn’t anything they could do about it. Other than just call different hertz locations and ask if they had a vehicle and that I would probably have to pay more for it then what the reserved price was for. So we went to enterprise that was right up the road and told them what hertz done to us and they located us a vehicle and actually had it delivered to their Easley location so we would have a vehicle for vacation. Enterprise might cost a little more but I will pay more for better service and for a company that looks after their customers! My first Hertz experience was complete garbage!

If anyone ever needs to rent a car, GO TO HERTZ in Easley off of hwy 123! Tyrae helped us and it was the most pleasant experience we’ve ever had! We were able to get into an amazing premium vehicle for less than what enterprise would’ve charged and they had it rented to us within 10 minutes! I can’t praise this place enough!

Tyrae was awesome and super friendly...had me in and out quickly. No hassles. In response to a few other reviews....PLEASE UNDERSTAND.... when you rent a car there is a $200 deposit if you use a debit card..... sometimes there's a $200 deposit with a credit card... so if you don't have the money available then don't rent a car!!!! It's pretty simple!!!!

I rent a car with Hertz through expedia.com. I dropped off the car on Sunday as booked, but they did not process the return until Tuesday. I was ended up being charged for 2 extra days of late return. My credit card was charged automatically and my bank could not take back money because Herzt issued me a wrong final receipt. It took too much time to show evidence to get my refund back.

I made a reservation online because I have a car load of people to take to my military retirement and called this manager up day of and he was like sorry oh well I dont have a van for you. I asked if he could find me one somewhere else he was like not my problem. This was the manager, don’t use this facility, they are rude and you can’t rely on them to hold your car, it’s a gamble. Unbelievable, go to enterprise in Easley for service and heaven forbid they actually hold your car for you.
