Hertz Car Rental

I won’t be using Hertz ever again. I was given a rental that had the service and oil lights on. In addition, the car I received should have gotten around 500 miles on a full tank but it was barely getting 350 each time I filled up after that. Absolutely no one was helpful. I tried calling thrice at the time I was told a supervisor would be available and got no answer. When I went in person, once I returned, they didn’t have any replacement vehicles available anyways.nnI ended up taking it to another location to try switching it out. I was told on the phone to let the folks at the counter know the maintenance light was on and they’d just switch it... but of course they didn’t. I ended up having to fill the car up AGAIN or pay $10 per gallon. I also have to pay a fee to return the replacement to the location that’s closest to me since I had to go elsewhere to get it.nnThey told me the lights were incorrect, but who the hell wants to spend money on something that already has warning lights showing? Who would be comfortable put their kid or spouse in a car like that because the reps said it’d be okay???

My daughter rented a car in advance and paid in advance (2 month). Got there to get her car and they told her they were all rented. She finally got them to give her a car, downgraded two levels, 2 hours after she got there. They would not even discount her price even though she got a much smaller car.

This has been the most horrible experience ever! I booked a reservation over a month ago! I took a Lyft 30 mins to the location to pick the vehicle up only to be told that there are no vehicles available. No one bothered to cancel the reservation and or notify me before hand so I didn’t waste my money getting a Lyft there and having to pay a taxi to get back home. Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting to say the least and I will be call corporate because I need my transportation fees refunded!

I made a reservation only to be told that they are sold out... sooo mad. They did the same thing to me in Mexico and now here in the USA I will never ever use this company, I hope they go out of business soon

I am currently awaiting a car. All of the rentals are out of cars and have turned people away. Hertz had none ready, but after checking for available cars, the associate went to clean one. Excellent service.
