National Car Rental

Service was great! It was our first time renting from their exotics collection. I admit it did take longer than I expected compared to just going through and picking from the executive aisle. But it wasn’t on their end, it was more the insurance company putting us on hold. Their staff was super patient and made the process easy and enjoyable. Great service!

The Fayetteville NC counter personnel were a little less than courteous, friendly or helpful. First the National counter was closed and I had to go to Enterprise. There were two Enterprise counter people on duty. One was taking care of a customer. The second person, an African American female was sitting at the counter and took a long time to acknowledge that I was standing there. I have been an Emerald Executive class member for several years and have never had such poor customer service!

I have rented many cars through National and been very happy with them. Unfortunately, this was not the case with my recent rental car. The A/C was not functional and I didn’t know it until I was too late. I had to lower my windows to keep cool through four days. The gas tank also was slightly above half. Not good..

I've been renting from National for years now and will avoid anyone else if possible. Not because they are bad horrible options (I've used them all) but nothing I've experienced in the travel I do beats National's dedication to customer service. I travel half the year for work. The workers at the Fayetteville, NC Airport branch are exceptional. The vehicles (all types) are dependable and exceed expectations. The very small mechanical issues I've experienced over the 6 years has been minimal and quickly resolved within 24 hours. I've even kept a key fob as a souvenir by accident one time, and was able to mail it back to the rental office with no penalty. The customer service is great and vehicle options are second to none. Thank you National for enabling me to do what I do when on the road.

I made my reservation for full sized truck approximately 45 days prior to arrival. Upon arrival the National phone app said the office was open. However, when I get to the counter I learn that National has closed that location, and that Enterprise would be servicing National customers - not a huge deal. The problem is that this location does not offer the same services an Executive level or higher member would expect. Additionally, they did not have my vehicle and nothing comparable. Thus, I was given a smaller vehicle with literally 15 miles worth of gas in the tank. That said, my rate was adjusted accordingly.nnThe gentlemen working the counter were professional and worked with me to the best of their ability given the situation - no complaints there. This location is not ideal if you’re looking for a particular level of service and/or availability.
