If you value your time or appreciate customer service then I would suggest avoiding this company. If you book through a 3rd party like me then you probably won’t find out that the location is not at the airport until you arrive at the rental counter to find it isn’t there. Once you figure this out you’re taken by shuttle to stand in line outside in the hot sun since they operate out of a small trailer that doesn’t hold more than 6-7 people at a time. Once you’re inside you get to hear the interactions of the clerks with customers. You can tell by their flat affect and frequent “you should’ve read your rental agreement” response that they love their job. This part was quick. It only took 2 hours 15 minutes to get through the line and then another half hour back outside watching them “wash” the car. Then when I thought I was good to go he decided the rear tire needed air. Fortunately he had one of those cigarette lighter air compressors that take forever instead of a larger one that you would expect a business to have. At this point I knew I should’ve said something requesting the tire be fixed but didn’t out of frustration for the time already wasted there. Now I find myself needing to put air in the tire daily since I refuse to change it unless I absolutely have to. Also note if you plan on crossing state lines there’s a $13/day charge that isn’t mentioned at time of rental and I learned from other customers in line you can’t rent from this company if you’re a resident of Georgia. Bottom line—I would rent elsewhere and avoid the headache just to save a few bucks.

The rental experience was frustrating from the moment we arrived to the rental hub at the airport. We were informed the Routes rental pick up isn’t actually at the airport, but would have to take a shuttle to the location.nnThe shuttle arrived to pick us up, however there were around 20 people waiting, so we had to wait for the second shuttle. We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait, however we waited for 25. Upon arrival there was a wait to pick up our rental. We were informed that, unfortunately, not everyone reruns vehicles on time and that we may not be placed in the vehicle we had already booked/paid for online.nnWe ended up waiting for an hour and a half from the time we set foot on the rental property until we got into a vehicle. We also were not aware that we would have to put down a refundable deposit of $350, after already paying for our rental. Additionally, unaware that this deposit could only be made using a credit card; not a debit card. Luckily I had brought my credit card, but had I not, I would’ve been turned away for the rental I’d already paid for previously to arriving.nnWe will not ever rent from Routes again; it was extremely frustrating

Super helpful and friendly. Vehicle was clean. Check in/out was easy. Make sure you come prepared with your car rental insurance policy (we went to allianz.com) The shuttle was very quick. Max 15 minutes from the airport. Picked us up in 5 minutes. Make sure you call on the escalator on your way out of the airport to let them know to send the shuttle.

I must say I was worried when I read the reviews!nnMy experience was great, the staff was very friendly and polite. Yes it is a trailer but at the end of the day all it matters is the good service, price and the car.nnGive them a chance you won’t be disappointed!!nnThank you for making this part of my trip pleasant.

Everything was fine and dandy with the service I received from Route Rental car company until I received a call from my credit card company about fraud.. I had a rental for 3 days which only cost a little over 300 dollars. They charged my card 3 separate times and ran me over my cards limit. Plus no one calls you back or answers phone calls. Please go elsewhere because they're service sucksud83dudc4e
