I had to come back 2 separate times for some odd reason with my new card. Once that was settled, the rental process was simple. I appreciate the manager stepping in and getting me squared away quickly.
Absolutely the worst rental car company, based on the online booking process and customer experience. This company is “budget” at its core, as the service and process is awful. Booked a rental, added drivers name and age in their online booking tool. I received confirmation and prepaid, only to find out after a 3,000 mile trip that they won’t honor their own confirmed contract, due tot he driver’s age. Unbelievable that a national organization can offer a site for booking and entering ALL pertinent info, receive a confirmation, pay, and then not be notified that the accepted contract isn’t compliant until after traveling across country. Budget’s process/service is the absolute industry worst!
Horrible staff. Didn’t have any more cars so they were trying to make us pay more when we booked 3 weeks in advance. The manager wasn’t trying to help us at all. He had an attitude the whole time and didn’t help us so I went and rented at a different company. Needs better staff or they will lose a lot of business.
Price was better than other rental companies for the vehicle type and size that we got. Vehicle was very clean and pickup was fast and easy. Thank you so much! You made travel for this big family a little easier :)
Beware! We rented a BMW. Upon arrival late on a Friday, they insisted we produce our personal auto insurance policy before taking the vehicle. They did not say that ahead of time. We obviously would have brought it with us. When we asked why, they explained that they purchased some new cars and had not insured them yet, themselves. It took over an hour in a packed waiting area in a Pandemic to get our personal insurance agent on the phone to confirm we have insurance on our own car. We asked if we could buy their insurance. They said no. They could confirmed that they rented us a car that they had yet to insure themselves. We asked if we could just have another car. They said sure, but at the cost of the BMW. Their service agent was combative the entire time. Other customers were experiencing the same freakish dilemma. We will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU BECAUSE THEY HATE THEIR CUSTOMERS.
