I worked with Rich and his team this past weekend to shoot photo and video footage for Atlanta Luxury Rental Cars. Leading up to a shoot like this can often be nerve-racking and unpredictable but the team at ALRC worked to make sure we covered every detail beforehand. I’ve initially rented with ATL LUX around early March of this year through the Hyre Car program. Everything was great! I enjoyed the 2020 Kia Soul that I selected. Service was pretty good. A few months after I received notifications about a program that they have to purchase a vehicle through them. I declined the offer but they were persistent, so I said why not give it a try since things are going well and I’m looking in the market for a vehicle anyway. I traded the 2020 Kia Soul for a 2020 Kia Sportage and payments were made daily as well just as the rental. This is where the trouble began...I had an issue with my payments because my Paypal account was hacked. Prior to this I had no issues with making payments with the rental or with the vehicle I was purchasing. When I explained that to one of the representatives I was informed that they would get back to me with more information. So instead they decided to shut the vehicle off because of “failed” payments without notice 3 days after me contacting them. They failed to mentioned there was another option to pay for my vehicle until my issue was resolved. So on August 7th, I missed a whole day of work which is very crucial during this pandemic and was unable to pick up my daughter from daycare. I called multiple times because I thought that I had a dead battery but that was not the case what so ever. I had to be at work by 5am and around 2pm someone finally go back in contact with me but through via text message. The representative I spoke with was very rude and stated that it is not their responsibility for my negative account. My bank account was not the issue, my paypal was. (FYI I didn’t know you could have multiple PayPal accounts seeing as I don’t use it often). Horrible customer service right? So after being disrespected, the representative finally told me the other option to pay. I paid the balance and proceeded as usual trying to take the high road. So just an hour ago today, I try to start up my vehicle to go to the store and my vehicle is shut off yet again. For what reason this time you ask? I am unsure because I am up to date and have proof. Did someone try to contact me? Not even once. So I am stuck in my own home until their office is open on Monday due to their lack of communication and horrible customer service. I don’t recommend purchasing anything from this company because getting in contact with someone is like pulling out teeth. Please go elsewhere if you can. It is not worth the headache I assure you.
