Budget Car Rental

Why i chose budget? I used to work at Budget while i was in High School, the price was the cheapest price for a Suv and they would pick you up. I called to arrange for a pick up and i was told that i needed to arrange for a pick up 3 weeks in advance. Which i don't know how i would have arranged that when i just had made my reservations the following night.I feel like for the amount that i paid i should've been picked up.nFrom the moment that i walked into the location it wasn't the Budget experience that i ever remember getting or giving.nI wasn't greeted when i came in. One person was helping me then he ran into a issue and asked for help and then the other guy took over. The entire time i felt like i was a burden and that this guy felt like i was a waste of his time. He then hands me a clip board with a car and said go look at the vehicle, but NEVER explained anything. Luckily i remembered from my training while working at Budget that you always need to take a walk around the vehicle and document any damage and the gas level. I documented all the damage on the sheet.nWhat was disturbing is that when i came back in after checking the vehicle the same person was talking to another customer and he was smiling,and explaining everything to them and he even handed them a clip board and explained in detail what they needed to do with the clip board. I found this to be very sad and disturbing because why was i treated any different than them? Was it my skin color? Was this person just having a not such good day or did i just catch him at the wrong time. I never felt like this ever working or renting from any other budget.I think at this location that they need some more training to better serve their customers and to NEVER make a customer feel the way that i did.nThe only positives from this situation was the Suv, and the service at the return location.nThe Suv was nice until i was maybe a hour out and the oil light came on the dash. I ended up pulling into a safe gas station. I pulled the stick out and it was very low. I purchased a couple of quarts oil and put it in. I NEVER should've had to do that.That's another thing i remember working there that we always checked our levels in our vehicles.nWhen i returned the car i was very lucky to have had that training to document the damage because they definitely asked about the damage and i told them about me having to stop and get oil and he showed me the number that i should've called. I was NEVER told about this when i rented the car.I was giving better service when i returned the suv at the return location.nOh and did i mention that is was my 1st time in Georgia?

Every one was courteous....hands down. Best place to rent a car.....mike drop.... you want a car they got ya car!

Since I've been a loyal member I've never encountered any problems before now. The rental car provided was not a gas saver at all. After driving 3hrs the tank was empty. I spent more money on gas than what the rental cost. After returning the vehicle I was charged a $75 cleaning fee based of the rep complaint about a victoria secret body spray. She stated other people my have allergies. Thats mind blowing to be charged a fee for perfume smell and not smoke. Instead of going back n forth I just agreed to pay the fee only because I was threatened to be put on the rental block list. The rep confirmed it could be taken from my deposit, however it wasn't. This experience with budget made me feel uneasy. This is the only company I rent from. Now it's making me rethink my future rental options.

When I booked my reservation through expedia, there was nothing said about a mileage limit. The only stipulation was that there may be geographical restrictions of where the vehicle may go. Then when I picked up the vehicle, they told me that there was a milage restriction and that any overage was additional. This was told to me after they had swiped my card and 15 minutes prior to closing. I needed the vehicle and didn't have any other options at that point. If there are mileage restrictions, they should be disclosed at booking. The vehicle was nice and the lady friendly, but I do not like their mileage rules and how they are not properly disclosed.
