I personally didn't have a good experience with Avis, the rental location where I picked up my car or the National Hotline/Customer Service. First I went and they didn't have any cars even though I had booked a reservation. So I re-booked the next day over the phone. Then I went back and they closed an hour earlier than was listed online and an hour earlier than what their Customer service/booking phone number had listed. When I booked my reservation over the phone I booked a 545pm pick up time and they closed at 5 according to the sign on the door, but no one knew, including corporate. So then I tried another location the next day, and they didn't have the car I reserved, they had a smaller car, but still charged me for the bigger one and tried to say it was the same price! So then I called cystomer service, yet again, and there was nothing they could do for me over the phone except tell me I could find yet another different location and exchange it the next day! After I return this rental I will NEVER use Avis again, I will go to Enterprise next time. If I could give zero stars I would

Do not use this location.nnThey advertise as being open at 8:30 during the week/Saturday which is when we scheduled to return a car to this location. No one showed up to open until almost 9:15 AM.nnBased on other reviews I would avoid at all costs, it seems like there is no guarantee that they will be open during the hours they advertise.

WORST AVIS ON THE PLANET! DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE! USE ANOTHER CAR RENTAL AGENCY! YOU WILL BE MISTREATED AND OUTRIGHT CHEATED! STAY AWAY! IF ZERO STARS WAS AN OPTION, THAT WOULD BE MY RATING.

Rented a car. Pick up was 6pm. Showed up 5:20pm AVIS was closed. Sign on door said it closed at 4pm.nCalled customer service. The lady put me on hold for about 15min. Picked back up pretending she didn’t know who I was and didn’t know what I was talking about, hung up on me. Called back a few times because the calls kept failing before anyone picked up. Guy lied and said that the place closed at 6 today and there was nothing that he could do. Told him I had been there before 6pm and that there’s a sign on the door that says it closed at 4pm so he was just giving me a BS excuse. Lost my cool. Told him I didn’t care about the new lie he was telling me. Told me the best he could do was to give me a discount for tomorrow morning. Gave me a refund. By the time this was all over every other car rental was closed. Am currently in a $203.74 Uber because I can’t lose my appointment.nnOh and it’s down pouring.nnStay away. Should have gone with enterprise. Went with Avis because it was a few bucks cheaper.
