Budget Car Rental

My experience was horrible from beginning to end. Absolutely no customer service at all. The woman at the counter started off by explaining that the location was full of mold and she was having trouble breathing. The E Van I rented was never cleaned, she wouldn't walk out to check the car in or out. It was never cleaned before I picked it up. She explained that it had been dropped off 15 minutes prior to my arrival and she did not have time to clean it as she was alone. She also asked me to make sure that I vacume the van as it was not possible for her to bend and get in it to do that herself. I will most likely not rent from budget again at the very least never this location.

Waited an hour and a half! Then the 1 person who is working leaves to take a break!!!!!!! Never again! Do not rent a car from here! Go to Enterprise where they know what they are doing.

I would honestly leave zero Stars if it would let me this location is ran by the most incompetent people I've ever dealt with this is my third time trying to rent a car from this location last month I placed a reservation a week ahead of time I showed up to pick my car up at the exact time my reservation was for 3:00 p.m. when I showed up to the location all there is is a note on the door saying sorry we have closed early today, okay stuff happens so I try another time this time I end up waiting outside of the office for 25 minutes and somebody finally shows up I did get to rent a car that day but it was filthy inside there was used masks stuff behind the seats and obviously nobody ever sanitized it from the last person who used it now this is my last straw I'm supposed to be picking my daughter up for her 16th birthday tomorrow and I reserved a car I got there to pick it up nobody's there just a note on the door that they'd be back so I wait patiently for 25 minutes when she finally shows up she tells me I don't have any cars that are clean I don't have any cars that are ready I told her it's an emergency I'll take whatever you have I'm not picky she tells me it's not her job to clean the cars and that those same cars have now been an accident and they're not rentable. What is the purpose of allowing you to make a reservation if they have no plans on keeping it I called the 1-800 number and they told me I'm basically shit out of luck I can go to a different location and this is after I spent $25 on an Uber to come pick the car up which now I'll have to spend another $25 to get back home and hopefully find a car for rent somewhere else

There is way much wrong with this location and with Budget in general.nFirst off Hot wire/BUDGET reserved me a car that does not exist. I got to the location in Melbourne, Only to find out that the car I reserved was not even there and that I would have to drive to the Orlando International Airport to pick it up. That doesn't work for me considering I live in Melbourne and I was traveling South for the day and only one day. There is something severely wrong with the woman that works at the location as well. This experience ruined my day, my plans, my time and my money. I will never book through Hot wire or Budget again.
