I spent 34 days at this Holiday Inn and I must say that my experience here was fantastic throughout my entire stay. First I’d like to mention that the way COVID-19 restrictions implemented throughout the hotel were well organized. From entering the hotel, to room maintenance and meals provided within the hotel. Staff member Amber was always very polite and helpful every day during food services and was always willing to go above and beyond to provide great service. I remember each and every day I entered or left the property there was always a staff member welcoming me or offering well wishes for me on the day. Courtney, a receptionist I remember was always working none stop and greeting me throughout my stay always smiling which made coming and going a pleasant experience each and every day. The systems implemented within this hotel are top notch from filling out small note cards for when you would like house keeping to come and clean the room, trash services picking up waste each day putting your trash out the door. Everything and everyone knew their job and did it well and organized. This hotel is one that is worth staying at for all that it provides in safety and professionalism.
I stayed at this hotel on and off for a 6 month stint awhile back. The front desk staff was always very kind and helpful. The hotel was fairly clean but occasionally you'd run into a small issue. The staff however, was very competent and willing to help. The gym was small but had the basics; dumbbells, a bench, a bike, and a treadmill. Finally, the continental breakfast was always fresh and much appreciated while on the go for work! Just realize, this hotel isn't near much. You have to drive 5-10 minutes north or go to colonial heights for stuff to do.
The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly. We did have an issue, but after speaking with the manager, Cassandra, the issue was resolved to our satisfaction very quickly. We think they deserve a 5 star review due to the attentiveness to the issue!
Amber who serves breakfast everyday was great! She did her work in a professional manner with smile all the time. My favorite house keeper was Dinis. She gives more 100% effort in her work.nFront desk personnel were courteous and welcome. The negative thing I encountered was failure to get back to me whenever make a request on the phone. There was no call back at all in three different occasions. I had to always come down to get a response.nBut overall, the stay was great.
This place was great. The room was nice and clean. The lobby and breakfast area were too. Many manageable precautions were being taken for covid-19 which of course was something we were worried about.
