This man was completely rude when I called to inquire a possible rental. He was arrogant and short and even hung up on me. Definitely poor customer service. Would not recommend at all.

I was really impressed with A-1 first the owner was super friendly and helpful. He came and picked me and my husband up due to out car being in the shop and was got us into a winterized van. I was impressed with the price and how quick the process. I would definately refer his services to anyone due to the price, customer service and no hassel.nnThanks Stan Great business

Stan is a great guy. He's one of the few people in Anchorage who will rent you a card without a credit card or return flight. The cars aren't brand new and may have minor issues, but they will work perfectly well.

I rented a vehicle from Stan for over three months. Stan is an honest person and went out of his way for me more times than I can count on one hand. I can not recommend his services enough for short and long term rentals. Stan attracts a certain clientele due to the nature of his business and how he is forced to compete against businesses like Enterprise and Avis. This does not always pan out well, which is why you will see negative reviews. You will not find anyone more caring or dedicated to taking care of his customers when it comes to van or car rentals in Anchorage.

Stanley was the most amazing generous guys I encountered on my two week long, solo road trip to denali and through the kenia peninsula. I was alone most of the time I spent there and upon seeing stanley to drop off my car.. it was like reuniting with an old friend. Friendly guy no BS!
