Christine was very helpful and considerate especially when my credit card was first declined. She knew her job and made sure we were getting the best possible deal.

Asian representative was rude. Dark hair, olive skin and glasses. Avis website did not let us know we could not book without a credit card. We decided to use a credit card, but I was NOT going to be driving. She said policy was the credit card holder had to be listed as primary driver and had to pay about $13.99 a day, plus tax. Then they would not accept my DL. Again, I wasn’t even going to be driving. We took our business to the Enterprise kiosk inside the airport. Much better service and it ended up being $30 cheaper for the same vehicle.

Rental car had inadequate tires for Anchorage Alaska. got stuck in Walmart parking lot. Had to call AAA to pull me out of parking spot.

Quickly made it through the line, however when exiting the parking garage its super tight. Would not recommend renting a fullsize truck or BIG suv. I rented an Acadia that was tight when exiting the garage. Not the rentals place fault but good info to know.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY! Completely unprofessional office that decided to charge us for a whole extra day because we arrived at 10:17 instead of 10:13pm. We were NOT notified before renting the car that they would charge us for a whole extra day for being even a minute late. We were charged several hours later AFTER returning the car and were not told upon returning the car right then and there. It was very sketchy. When we tried calling, they couldn't tell us at the corporate office why this independently-owned office charged us. When we called the Anchorage office, and spoke to the manager, Iva, she gave us the run around, claiming that it was in our contract to return by 9:15 because we had picked up the car early (we had a 10pm rental time), and there for we needed to return the car by 9:15, with a 58-minute grace period. 58 minutes?? Who made that up?? Usually the grace period is an hour or so. So we returned the car at 10:17. She really couldn't give us the 5 minutes?? Are they that desperate for money that they need to charge us a whole $60 more for 5 extra minutes? Absolute scam of an office and really upsetting that they would not be more gracious. Our $300 renal turned into $360, a 20% price increase. Really terrible business and customer service.
