Squirrel Creek Elk Ranch

We stay there a few years ago and we absolutely loved it. Quite and good food. I hope we can go back one day.

The best things in lIfe are not things, they are family and friends. This is not a vacation spot. It is not a bed and breakfast, it is utter garbage. The only family reunion my family has ever done in my 42 years was here. Our booking was renegotiated unconditionally. Instead of each couple or family having their own cabin or room, we had our own bed. The grounds keeper/ owner(I don't know who he was) made a little extra money by renting our rooms to other people. The first night in Squirrel Creek it was 48 degrees. It was 59 degrees in the room that my wife and I shared with my parents and my nephew who slept on the floor. The grounds keeper argued that the heating system worked just fine, but still supplied us an electric heater, since the heat did not work.nWe ended up having a great time because we have a great family and lots of love. Please check yelp, as others in my family will be posting there. Don't get taken advantage of by this hole in the wall, unclean, garbage establishment.
