Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe

Well I've been to a few Hard Rock's and in comparison this is the section 8 version. Or if you prefer, Hard Rock light. The point, at least to me is the check out the iconic rock swag! As a guess I'll say they had maybe 30 pieces in all. Not very much at all! Bar staff very nice, knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and fast

When we arrived we found out there was a 3 hours wait time for dining in the restaurant. All Hard rock are not affiliated so we were not able to use our hotel points for stay. The room was very nice had a nice view. The town was worth getting out for a walk.

I came there in November 2020 and stayed there for 1 night. The rooms which I had booked was outstanding and amazing. The view of Lake Tahoe was very scenic and the staff were amazing. I would definitely plan on coming back to Lake Tahoe soon and staying at this place.

Old hotel originally built in 1965 and has been remodeled by several owners. With that said, I expected more from the Hard Rock brand. It still feels like an old hotel that has been remodeled. The room was okay but the bathroom was gross and in desperate need of a complete remodel. Wallpaper was peeling and what seemed like half an inch of paint on the ceiling. The caulking around the tub looks like it was done by an unsupervised 6 year old. The tub itself was dingy and toilet was loose.nnWe ate at the Alpine Union restaurant in the casino. Nice atmosphere and service. I ordered the wedge salad ($15) and my wife ordered the quesadilla ($14). We felt the food was way over priced for what we got. It wasn’t bad but not worth the price either. We would find another place to try next time.nnIf you can get a good deal on a room then it is worth staying.
