I was recently in an accident, and the person that hit me’s insurance arranged for a rental car through Hertz. They picked me up from the body shop where I dropped off my car. When I got to Hertz, Gail was so nice, polite, and personable with me. If I ever needed to rent a car again, I would come back here in a heartbeat.

I made a reservation over a week in advance, had everything set up, confirmation, read through everything. I show up and they say you need a credit card, debit wouldn’t work. They couldn’t mention that anywhere else during the reservation? I’ve rented vehicles multiple times with my debit. It ruined several people’s day. Furious

I had okay service nice cars besides them playing with my business. money like it was there’s put me in so many bad spots I spent thousands of dollars with this company trying to keep them out of bankruptcy but I spent 5,000 dollars and they never even offered me a free car at least Enterprise offered me free cars after I spent 2,000 !!!!!

The staff at the Akron office are very nice and very helpful. The business is what I had an issue with. The hidden fees and fine print mislead people. Always check your account when you rent from Hertz. They DO charge you a $200 deposit that is refunded 2-7 business days after you return the rental. They will charge you a fee automatically if it's returned after hours even if you have a late return in your contract. Just be careful hidden fees and charges so you don't lose money.
