They had one person working the front desk The line was very long. however, it must be noted that she was very pleasant and very caring. It took quite a while to get my car I was told to wait in the back it took over 20 minutes for them to deliver the car. Once the car was delivered and I drove off there was an issue with the seat belt warning light going off there's nothing I could do to fix it return the car The manager didn't seem to care. The nice front lady was able to replace my car with a car that works properly. It is noted that Avis was very busy compared to the other car rental companies I would go with another company when it comes to the Cleveland airportnnThe response from Avis below is a canned PR stunt. I emailed they did not respond.

The price, customer service, rental car and experience was superior!! Arrived at the Airport Rental Center and was out within 10 minutes with a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander that made my exploring of Cleveland, OH so enjoyable. Returning the car was so simple. Thank you Avis!!

Absolutely horrible experience. I reserved an intermediate SUV for an 11 PM pickup because I was driving to Denver with my wife and kids and leaving at midnight. When I got the alert on my phone that my car was going to be a pickup truck, I immediately started calling to explain that simply would not work. I called for 45 minutes and every time the phone system automatically hung up on me. So instead of sleeping in preparation for my trip, I had to drive 25 minutes to the airport to sort everything out. To the credit of the nice woman I dealt with in the lot, she was very helpful and got me another vehicle. It was, however, rather beaten up on the exterior and the seats had holes and stains. I was scheduled to drop off the car at 10 PM in Denver a couple days later, but they said I had to drop it off at the same time I picked mine up, despite the fact I had to drive there 6 hours early because of THEIR mistake and broken phone system. I would never consider renting a car from them, despite the fact that their staff was friendly and tried to help. These are the supposed perks of being an AVIS preferred member evidently.
