My family got a 2020 ford explorer whit leather and it was a little dirty and I found a clown mask, some hair bands, and some socks. The car was not really clean it was not vacuumed and it had a odd cigarette smell that would not go away we opened the windows for a long time. We put a new air freshener but it still did not go away in the arm rest. Otherwise the car was nice and a reasonable price.

Ron always takes care of me and gets me nice clean vehicles which is nice since I get a rental every week (or every two weeks for two weeks straight) for work and drive a lot of miles in them. Keep up the good work!

We paid for a premium SUV month in advance and when we went to pick up vehicle, were given a vehicle two steps below what we paid for. The counter explained that it wasn't available and could care less that it wasn't what we paid for. We rented a Suburban specifically due to the space needed, otherwise we would have rented a smaller SUV. The vehicle that we were given smelled awful, like it had been smoked in and also smelled of marijuana!! As we were on our trip, some how got a nail in the tire. We made it to our destination, thankfully. I called roadside assistance, of which after much debate, finally someone came to our destination to change the tire. I then spent the next two days of endless phone calls trying to get a different vehicle, since our vehicle was full and the now spare wouldn't even be able to fit on top of all of our stuff but besides, there was no way that we could travel over 600 miles on a spare tire!!! Once again I was up against customer service that didn't have any cares in the world about our problem!! I even attempted to call locations that were near us to attempt to get the vehicle changes, however the phone calls were all being routed back to main customer service, of which non of your customer service support staff knew. I finally got a hold of a local agent and she referred me back to roadside. I then contacted roadside assistance back to explain the problem again and the rep was helpful, except she sent me to a location that was 2 hours away from me to only find out that they had no idea that I was coming and had no vehicle for me to exchange. I some how also reach the general manager at Norfolk, VA airport Jim Phillips, who thankfully cared and assisted. He didn't have a vehicle but did all he could do to find me a replacement vehicle. If it weren't for Jim, we would have never got this resolved. I am sorry but this is not how you run a business. I spent 5 days of my vacation doing nothing but dealing with the rental car issues!!!!!! Horrible customer service!!

Would not recommend this location or company! I booked a reservation same morning on Priceline for an elite SUV (at a great rate!) When I arrived to the location, the agent (who was working alone with a bunch of customers to take care of) told me the computer system was down and he didn't have a paper copy of my reservation unless I made it a day before. This agent was willing to accommodate customers that were willing to pay half credit/half cash (against policy) but didn't lift a phone to see if he could find a way to get me into a car which I reserved. As it typical with customer service nowadays, I took matters into my own hands and called to AVIS' customer service. Since the only other location open at the time is the Cleveland Airport, I suggested I'd pick up a vehicle from that location if they could match the rate. Of course for the same vehicle, the airport wanted to charge 3x the rate. Not so much as an apology or any offer to meet me halfway. Thank you AVIS for ruining my travel plans.
