Booked with the customer service through AVIS & when I got to the location there were NO cars available. They did call another location & was able to get us into a vehicle.

Scheduled pickup for 2 p.m. Facility did not have my SUV when I got there. I had to wait until one was delivered from the Airport. Was told that is they did not bring 2 vehicles, I would not get one. Note please I had prepaid for the vehicle.nnThen, I had problems with a tire going flat..waited on hold for 40 minutes before talking with Sabrina who was not very nice or helpful. Told me to take car to airport 50 miles away to exchange. I then found out they were not even open on Sunday's. We had to keep stopping to put air in the tire and finally did take it to the airport and exchanged it. This took another 2 + hours from my vacation and imagine worrying about the tire the entire trip. It was horrible and Budget did not offer me any kind of compensation for my trouble.nIt was really bad driving 500+ miles and having to stop periodically to check the tire and to add air. This was a new SUV with only 23k miles on it.

From the airport Budget we received an SUV that smelled of smoke and was not cleaned appropriately. We called the corporate office to ask for an exchange and was directed to this location in Beachwood with the reservation set up for us. When arriving to this location, they appeared surprised and annoyed of my exchange. Was told they did not have an even exchange although the corporate office said they did, then found an SUV which had not been cleaned. They quickly prepped the car. This car was still dirty with drink stains and after the quick spray to cover the smell expired , we again had a car with a strong smoke scent. We drove to our location 20 hours having to spray febreeze every time we stopped. Budget promotes on their website worry free safety measures to keep us safe. My experience was anything but that and from two separate locations during Covid concerns. After losing four hours to exchanging cars, Budget corporate wouldn t even extend our turn in time. Will never use Budget again and will share with everyone I know the same.

Don’t ever rent from this location. Won’t have your car , rent out cars that are damaged or haven’t been cleaned and this is even during covid. You have been warned
