I used this location back in the summer and had no problems. I rented a car one way for Rochester airport using a debit card.nnToday I go in to get my reserved van to Albany one way and was told I couldn’t use my debit card even though I have a NY state license. I’m on a tight schedule and really needed the van. I called another location (same company) to see if they were the same and they said they have no idea why this location wouldn’t let me rent with a debit card. Offered no solutions just said I couldn’t because it’s one way and no explanation if this was a new policy. Very unprofessional and such a disruption of my day.

Horrible and unprofessional experience. Worst rental ever!!nI rented a vehicle from Enterprise on Friday, 8/28/20. I have rented a number of vehicles over the years for work out of the same location, so I have become very familiar with the process and rental workflow.nEach and every time I go to Enterprise, there is always different staff or trainees on site, so you never really deal with the same person multiple times.nThis time in particular, I had reserved a vehicle through an online booking. I had accumulated points from my frequent trips to the rental facility, so I wanted to use some of the free points for a trip to Rochester. When I arrived at the Enterprise location, I waited for over 10 minutes only to be told they did not have a vehicle on site for me. The individual who was helping me noted that you can reserve cars online, but it does not mean they have them or will have them onsite. [So essentially you are able to book online with no certainty that you will actually have the rental the day you need it]. After asking to speak with a manager or manager trainee, it was learned that they did not have any vehicles coming back that day [being a Friday], but that their Route 11 location had vehicles to boom or rent. I then had to request a shuttle or give me a ride to this location because you aren't allowed to leave personal vehicles on site.nOnce I arrived at the route 11 location, the driver quickly left. It took a few minutes, but I was able to speak with a individual who noted to me that they too did not have any vehicles and was curious as to why they would refer me to this location. She then proceeded to call the Genesee Street location to question them on why they would send me there. At this point I became stuck because as noted the shuttle driver left after dropping me off. After waiting for 15 or so minutes and no sure what to do, a rental car did get returned. However, I was not able to use my points. In order to be able to use points, you have to book your reservation through that exact location. Attempts to do this on my mobile devices were not successful. Thus, I had to pay out of pocket. The individual I was dealing with at the Route 11 location cold not return my points and told me to call their corporate offices. [Once on the road I called one of the St. Louis locations to get my points return and asked for a return call by the franchise owner of the Syracuse locations so I could explain this horrible ordeal. BTW, still waiting for that call as i have received no calls or follow ups on my experience to date regarding this rental. In the past i have received follow up calls form the Enterprise Corporate offices, but not this time].nDespite renting on average 15-20 cars annually over the past 4 years or so [less this year, but due to the restricted COVID-19 travel].nSuffice to say this horrible experience put me well behind that day as having to be in Rochester around 5:30, I did not actually leave Syracuse till 5:20 or so, putting me at my destination around 7-pm. Truly a unpleasant experience, one i hope to never experience or go through again. More than likely, I will walking a little further down the street to now rent cars from my local Avis....

Totalled my car 2 weeks ago, requested a awd suv. First chevy traverse they put me in smelled like weed on the inside so I requested a new awd suv. The sales person said he had a ford edge awd, so I took that. First snow after I got the rental it got stuck on a street while driving, about 4in of snow on the road. Then the last day I was to return the rental it got stuck in my driveway, enterprise had to get their roadside assistance to pull it out into the road. It made me miss my drop off date and over a hour late to work, next day I dropped it off and told the lady (who never gave her name) said she would talk to the sales person about it. She was very rude and unprofessional just pushing me out the door, told her I wasn't paying for that last day...3 hours later they billed me a extra 60 for that last day, the late drop off was due to their negligence. The regional manager(nicole hill) contacted me, seemed very apologetic and said she would refund me. After a few unanswered text messages and a voicemail she has yet to refund me or return a call.nnI use only enterprise when I need a rental, but after this never will I use them or their subsidiary rental companies.n****Update***refund given

Didn't rent a car from this location but was told to give this location a call because the other one couldn't give me a ride back to the hotel. Give this location 5 stars because they worked with me to get me a ride back. Very good, friendly customers service. Thank you guys for helping me out.

I call to make a reservation which I assume goes through some central call center. Reservation booked. Pay Uber to drive me to the location and on my way, I learn they are out of cars. They offer no help in finding another location. Why book reservations of you don't have cars? Why use central call centers of you can't see what's available? Keep it up and I'll use another company.
