Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Extremely unprofessional. Sat there for an hour because I had to show a bill that was not past due, paid on time, or not a delinquent account. Provided that and they sat there literally looking for a reason not to give me a car. FINALLY, when I had enough and explained to them that I DID NOT need their car or their services because I have my own car( was going on a road trip and needed more space), that I was given a car. I had to come out of character and I guarantee you I will never do business with enterprise again.

I've rented form many Enterprise locations worldwide and this location is by far the worst in almost every category. I would definitely advise to look elsewhere.nnI am a platinum member and I'm sure this location is an outlier as I am usually met with great service and professional staff. However this location fails in all categories. The employee Emilio managed to and manager Brian will give you different rates on the phone. Then when you come in they will suddenly have amnesia.nnA car was not provided for the reservation time. The agents tried to get me to pay for a more expensive car class otherwise they would not honor my reservation. A car was given to me with a door contact issue so the car alarm would randomly go off. Any phone calls to this location came with at least a 30 min hold time. Then they would put me on hold for 30 mins at a time. They would not exchange the car. The employee’s Emilio and Brian are horrible at treating customs I could see other customs upset at the location. When I called in to advise them of the issues with the care, they wanted to charge me more to return the car early. I know this location is cheaper than the airport or other locations but trust me, IT IS NOT WORTH THE LOWER PRICE. I saw numerous other customers with problems when I was waiting an hour past my reservation time for a car. Oh also they gave me a car from Canada with no Mileage on the dash only KM's. They told we anytime I rent I could get a car form anywhere in the world. And lastly it was a quarter tank less that what was marked.

Update , 2 weeks later after 2 hours of phone calls, a follow up e-mail to share my contact information and still nothing. Know for a fact enterprise and it's employees don't even caren--------------------nnHorrible horrible inconsiderate staff. The rental confirmation you receive means nothing. They won't honor rates, won't honor taking the responsibility for their mistakes. I rented a mini van , the lady said the van is not ready. And, while I was explaining how frustrated she comes back saying I won't argue back and forth. Absolutely horrible service. I would absolutely avoid

Enterprise rent a car in Newark Mccarter Hwy was awful. I reserved a car for 1 week I arrived on time the Spanish rep treated me as if I was an immigrant asking me for documents phone bill PSE&G told me I couldn't rent because I had a balance on both bills. I'm sure during the pandemic everyone has a balance big or small. I spent 4hrs in the store while he waited on others he explained they have new rules. My due balance for my phone bill was due the next day.i I never went thru what he put me thru being a Senior Citizen of the U.S. felt like a criminal. Never got a car.

The worst enterprise I have ever been to. They gave me one key and accused me of receiving two instead and will not return my deposit. It has been over 2 weeks and I have called numerous times and they have said they will return the deposit but no progress has been made. I reccomend going to another enterprise if you want good timely service. They put me on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up on me. Just let that speak for itself.
